Journal about Writing Errors

I read the whole list of errors on the Wisconsin site and depressingly I have fallen victim to all of the 12 common errors. In fact, during this post I will most likely make a common error somewhere. A few errors that I did not even realize to be errors were the dangling modifier, faulty parallelism, and the sentence sprawl. I had no clue how many technical errors I was making. I think this is due to the difference in the way I talk and the way that I write. Because I write how I talk it is hard to think about all of the technical mistakes that are occurring. I am also prone to not capitalizing my "I" because I am so used to word which capitalizes I for you automatically.
While I do find these common errors helpful, sometimes I think that a writing style is more important in getting the author's message across than by using the 100% correct technical styles. Just a thought.
